Scammers are using Dhoni’s name on messaging apps and social media to steal money. In this case, they messaged someone on Instagram pretending to be Dhoni, stuck without his wallet and needing 600 bucks to get home. They even used a fake username “mahi77i2” (Dhoni’s real handle is “mahi7781”).
So, Cricket Fam, Stay Alert!
