Shubman scored 121 runs in 133 balls at a strike rate of 90 with 8 fours and 5 sixes. Gill, along with KL Rahul, scored 57 runs in 87 balls for the third wicket. After this, he along with Suryakumar Yadav added 45 runs for the fifth wicket.

Last time, Gill along with Axar Patel added 39 runs in 36 balls for the seventh wicket. Gill completed his century in 117 balls on the second ball of the 38th over of India’s innings. Gill has become the first batsman to score 1000 runs in ODI with his bat in 2023. After this innings, Gill is trending on social media.
