Asia Cup 2023: PCB targets Jay Shah for not changing the venue of Super-4 matches. The ACC has changed its decision to shift the Super-4 stage of the Asia Cup to Hambantota.

Targeting started with Asian Cricket Council President Jai Shah:-

ACC changed its decision to change its venue after seeing a slight improvement in the weather forecast. After which PCB has once again started targeting BCCI Secretary and Asian Cricket Council President Jai Shah.

At the same time, the former PCB chief also wrote on social media that India is afraid to play matches with Pakistan.

It Was Decided To Shift From Here To Hambantota:-

The ACC had decided to shift the Super-4 matches of the Asia Cup from here to Hambantota due to bad weather in Colombo.

But changing the decision again, the council has retained Colombo as the venue. After which the Pakistan Cricket Board and Jai Shah have again come face to face.

Pakistani media is also constantly referring to the mysterious e-mail that ACC sent to all the member countries of the board and later retracted. The mail mentioned shifting of the Super-4 matches from Colombo to Hambantota.

Najam Sethi said ‘India is afraid of Pakistan:-

Former Pakistan Cricket Board chief Najam Sethi tweeted on Twitter that “BCCI/ACC informed PCB that they have decided to shift the next Indo-Pak match from Colombo to Hambantota due to forecast of rain.

Within an hour they changed their mind and declared Colombo as the venue. What’s going on? Is India scared of playing Pakistan and losing? Look at the rain forecast!”

With this tweet, Sethi has also uploaded the weather reports of Hambantota and Colombo. In which the weather is clear for many days in Hambantota and there are chances of rain in Colombo.

Significantly, on September 10, the match between India and Pakistan is to be played in the Super-4 stage. The group stage match between the two teams was washed out due to rain.
