Captain Rohit Sharma again forgot his passport in the hotel

A few years ago, during a TV show, Virat Kohli had also called Rohit Sharma the most ‘forgetful’ cricketer. The Captain once again displayed his ‘forgetful’ nature after India won a record 8th Asia Cup title on Sunday. In fact, when Team India was preparing to leave the hotel for the airport at night, a hotel official had to come and hand over Rohit Sharma’s passport, because the Indian captain had forgotten the passport in his hotel room.

However, Sharma did not forget to praise his teammates after their spectacular 10-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 final on Sunday. With the help of fast bowler Mohammad Siraj’s 6 wickets for 21 runs, Team India bowled out Sri Lanka for just 50 runs and then achieved the target in just six overs.
