Washington Sundar to replace Axar Patel in Asia Cup final

Asia Cup 2023 Final Washington Sundar: Washington Sundar is set to join the Indian team in Colombo for the Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka on Sunday. According to a report in Cricbuzz, 23-year-old Sundar has been called as cover for Axar Patel. Patel is said to be out of the Super 4 match against Bangladesh due to minor issues. Axar’s injury status is currently unknown. But there is some uncertainty over his availability for the match. After he suffered a few injuries during his innings at the Premadasa Stadium on Friday night.

Sundar is part of India’s Asian Games team

Sundar is part of India’s Asian Games team and is currently in Bengaluru. He is expected to rejoin the Asian Games camp after the completion of the finals. The camp will continue till September 23 before the games begin in Hangzhou, China.

Axar Patel was successful in scoring 42 runs in 34 balls against Bangladesh

Axar Patel managed to score 42 runs in 34 balls against Bangladesh, which included three fours and two sixes.
