Happy b’day Aftab Ahmed is a Bangladesh cricketer, his full name is Aftab Ahmed Chowdhury. He was born (10 November 1985) is a former Bangladeshi cricketer, who has played all the formats of the game. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium bowler.
Aftab Ahmed is an international Bangladeshi cricketer. Aftab’s first Test cricket was played on 26 October 2004 against the New Zealand team and the last Test match was played against England on 10 March 2010. Additionally, his first One Day International cricket was played against South Africa on 4 March 2004.

He made an important team of 81 not out against Zimbabwe. Also, he scored an unbeaten 62 off 49 balls and he and Mohammad Ashraful scored 109 runs in the team. He was dropped from the Bangladesh team for Asia Cup 2010, later he scored only 52 runs. Additionally, he was playing the first ICC World T20 2007 Championship.
He made his international debut in the 2004 Champions Trophy and went on to score a thirteen-ball duck as a result of good performances for Bangladesh at the Under-19 level.
In only the third match of his career, he took five wickets to become the first Bangladeshi bowler to achieve the feat in ODIs. With his gentle medium pace, he took 5 for 31 against New Zealand in the second of three ODIs between the two teams, which led to him bowling ten overs in most Bangladeshi games.

In Bangladesh’s first match at the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 Championship, Aftab Ahmed hit an unbeaten 62 off 49 balls as he and Mohammad Ashraful shared a 109-run partnership to beat West Indies with 2 overs to spare. In his second match against South Africa, he scored 36 off 14 balls before being bowled by Morne Morkel.
In August 2014, he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket after the 2014/15 domestic season to focus on coaching. This came after his poor form in Dhaka Premier League and First Division seasons, where he averaged 23.81 for Gazi Tank and 18.20 in three first-class games. For the 2014 Dhaka Premier League, he played for Brothers Union.
