Happy B’Day Australian Bowler Belinda Vakarewa. Belinda was born on 22 January 1998 in Griffith, New South Wales, Australia. Her full name is Belinda Waimakare Vakarewa. She is an Australian bowler. Her bowling style is Right-arm fast-medium. And Batting Style is right-handing. It’s Vakareva’s 24th birthday.

Vakarewa is an Australian cricketer from Griffith, New South Wales. She plays as a fast bowler for Tasmania in the Women’s National CL. And for Hobart Hurricanes in the Women’s BBL. At an international level, Belinda has made appearances in the national women’s team.

Her Early Life :-

Vakarewa attended Eagle Vale High School. She played local cricket for several clubs in western Sydney. Including Campbelltown-Camden grade cricket. Which well as Campbelltown City and Magpies Cricket Club at junior level.

She was introducing to the sport at the age of ten. After attending a “come and try” day. With her brother in primary school. She comes from “a very traditional Fiji family” and played rugby, her father’s favorite sport as a child.

Belinda’s Domestic Career :-

Belinda has attended the inaugural convention Sydney Thunder. And went on to play in the WBBL Championship Final, which the team won by three wickets. She joined the New South Wales squad in the 2015–16 WNCL season.

In May 2019, Vakareva was signing with the Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes. She enjoyed a breakout WBBL role, taking 20 wickets (ranked third in the league) at an average of 15.80.

Her outstanding season was recognising for being selecting in the team of the tournament.

Turning down opportunities from several other teams, Vakareva re-signed with the Hurricanes in July 2020.

Vakarewa’s International Career :-

In May 2017, Vakareva was naming in the 15-player Aus squad for the 2017 Women’s CWC. And made her Women’s One Day International (WODI) debut. The tournament against SL is on 29 June.

She toured the United Kingdom in June and July 2019 as a member of the Aus A team. Which played a series of limited-overs and red ball matches against the Eng and England Academy teams.

Vakareva was including in Australia A squad. Which hosted a series of three ODIs and three T20Is against India A in December 2019. She missed out on selection for Australia’s 2020 ICC T20 World Cup squad.

National team selector Shawn Flegler rightly said that the findings “reflect the depth of Australian cricket”. Belinda was selecting to play for the Governor General’s XI in an exhibition match. Against India at the Drummoyne Oval on 28 January 2020.
