Happy B’day England Women’s Cricketer Anya Shrubsole. Anya was born 7 December 1991 in Bath Samast, England, She is an English cricketer. She currently plays for Berkshire, Western Storm, Southern Brave, and England.

Nicknamed Anya Shrubsole, she plays as a right-arm medium-pace bowler and a right-arm lower-order batsman.

She made her arrival in England in 2008. And was the player of the match in the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup final. In 2018, she became the first woman to appear on the cover of the Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack.

Anya’s Personal Life :-

Shrubsole’s nickname is “Hoof”. She followed England’s World Cup semi-final win against South Africa in 2017. And her teammate Jenny Gunn explained to ESPNcricinfo. She “we call and her ‘hoof’ because she sometimes. And walks around like. And a show pony and on her feet.”

Shrubsole’s County Career :-

She played youth cricket for Somerset and participated in both. The Under-15 and Under-17 Women’s County Championships, and Anya made her first-team debut for the county at the age of 12.

Her performance in the Super Force was less productive, in three 50-over and two 20-over matches, she scored seven runs and did not claim a wicket.

Except for the conclusion of the English Women and Household Convention. And Shrubsole appeared for the MCC women’s team against the touring Indians in a Twenty20.

Her International Career :-

Shrubsole’s first match of the 2007 season marked her career-best bowling return in women’s List A cricket. With Somerset’s 206-run defense, Anya opened the bowling for her county, taking seven wickets – including Surrey’s top six batsmen.

On 18 June 2020, Anya Shrubsole was naming in a squad of 24 players to resume training ahead of international women’s and fixtures starting in England apart from the COVID-19 pandemic.

In November 2020, Shrubsole was nominating for the ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Decade Award. In June 2021, Shrubsole was named in England’s Test squad for their only match against India.
