Beth Mooney (Test, 2021):-
India posted 344/8 in the pink-ball Test. Australia openers Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney opened up and started with aplomb. Beth Mooney was mixing the ball with her blade. But Chatur Goswami bowled a wonderful ball to get rid of the southpaw.
She ran over the wicket and swung it all the way down the middle. The ball-shaped back had hit Beth’s flick and pushed past her stumps.
Meg Lanning (ODI, 2017) :-
This could probably be one of the best balls of Jhulan Goswami’s career. In the semi-finals of the Women’s World Cup in 2017, Australia was chasing 282 runs in 42 overs. Lanning went early and defended a few balls but was still not off the mark.
Then Jhulan picked up one of the middle and straightened it a bit. It smacked one of the best batsmen out of Lanning and hit it over his off-stump. The roar of Jhulan Goswami’s post said everything.

Australia was chasing a target of 275 runs to maintain their ODI winning streak. Alyssa Healy is known to set the rhythm in such subjects. However, Goswami rooted out the menace with a Jaffa!
He bowled the third ball of the match on a length just outside off. The ball swung late, passed through the gap between Alyssa Healy’s bat and the front pad, and hit the off-stump.

Ismail has not batted first innings. But even if it were, she would have been able to do very little that day. Jhulan Goswami caught the ball like a spinner – using the thumb only as an endorsement.
