She is an all-rounder cricketer in the Indian women’s cricket team. Rumeli was playing for Air India, Railways Assam, Rajasthan and Central Zone in domestic competitions. Dhar has played 4 Tests, 78 ODIs, 15 T20 matches and scored 1328 runs, and took 81 wickets.

She made her international debut on 27 January 2003 in the World Series of Women’s Cricket. Against England in New Zealand at the Burt Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln.
