Geoff Marsh is only the third Test player after Walter Hadley and Lala Amarnath to have two sons playing Test cricket: Shaun Marsh, who made his Test debut in 2011 against Sri Lanka.

And Mitchell Marsh, who made his Test debut against Pakistan in 2014. The Shaun Marsh family moving the family of England cricketer Tom Curran to Zimbabwe after the Curran family was evicting from their farm.

Curran made his England Test debut in the fourth Ashes Test of 2017 against Shaun and Mitchell, who played for Australia in the same game.

Geoff Marsh’s daughter Melissa Marsh played state basketball in the WNBL and was the captain of the Perth Lynx. Marsh is marrying and has three children named Shaun Marsh, his first son is Mitchell Marsh and his second son is Mitchell Marsh, he has a daughter named Melissa Marsh.

First-Class Cricket

Marsh scored 11,760 runs at an average of 39.46 with 33 centuries.

• As of June 2018, his unbeaten 355 for Western Australia against Southern Australia in Dec. 1989 is the 31st highest score in first-class cricket history and the 10th highest score by an Australian.

Geoff’s Coaching Career :-

Marsh retired from playing cricket in 1994. Which takes up coaching. In July 1996 he was selected to coach the Australian national Test and One Day International teams, a role instrumental in continuing his country’s status as the peak cricketing nation of the time.

In September 2011, he was appointed as the head coach of the Sri Lanka national team. Which, his tenure lasted barely four months. After Sri Lanka’s Test and ODI series losses to South Africa in December 2011 and January 2012, he was sacked and replaced by Graham Ford.
