Jasprit’s Personal Life :-

Bumrah was born in a Punjabi family while he settled in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Jaspreet’s father Jasbir Singh died at the age of 5. He was raising by his mother, Daljit Bumrah, who was also a school teacher in a middle-class neighborhood in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Daljit made his appearance in the 2019 Netflix documentary Cricket Fever Mumbai Indians, where he was sensitive about his son’s cricketing success.

On 15 March 2021, Bumrah married model and Star Sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in Goa. Ganesan, who hails from Pune, Maharashtra, is a former Miss India finalist and was also a part of MTV’s Splitsvilla in 2014.

Bumrah’s Domestic Cricket :-

Jasprit played first-class cricket for Gujarat and made his debut against Vidarbha in October 2013 during the 2013–14 season.

A 19-year-old Jasprit Bumrah made headlines when in his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut, he finished with figures of 3/32 against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Although he played only a few games for Mumbai Indians in Pepsi IPL 2013, Mumbai Indians management retained him for Pepsi IPL 2014 season.

On 11 December 2020, he scored his maiden first-class fifty (55*) against Australia A during Australia’s tour of India.

Indian Bowler Bumrah International Career :-

In two matches, the T20I series against the West Indies in August 2016, he surpassed Dirk Nance’s record, becoming the bowler to claim the most wickets (28) in Twenty20 Internationals in a calendar year.

Apart from playing 17 Tests abroad, Jaspreet played the M.A. against England in February 2021. Played his first Test match in India at Chidambaram Stadium. His first Test wicket in India was Daniel Lawrence’s for zero in the England Tour of India 2021.
