Happy Birthday Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, Shikhar Dhawan was born 5 December 1985 in Delhi, Dhawan is an Indian international cricketer and former limited-overs captain. He is considered one of the best opening batsmen in the world.
Dhawan is a left-handed opener and occasionally a right-arm off-break bowler, Shikhar also plays for Delhi in first-class cricket and Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
Dhawan’s Personal Life :-
Shikhar got engaging with Ayesha Mukherjee. An amateur kickboxer from Melbourne, in 2009, then married in 2012. Mukherjee was introducing to Dhawan by Harbhajan Singh. She is 12 years older than Dhawan and was also the mother of two daughters from her previous marriage.

In December 2014, she gave birth to a son named Zoravar. Dhawan also adopted Ayesha’s daughters Alia and Riya. In July 2019, Dhawan moved into his family home in the outer south-east of Melbourne.
Dhawan had been living with his family at Clyde North’s house since 2015. Dhawan and Mukherjee ended their marriage in September 2021.
Shikhar’s Early Domestic Career :-
Dhawan made his first-class debut for Delhi in November 2004 against Andhra in the 2004–05 season of the Ranji Trophy, scoring 49 runs in his first innings. He finished the Ranji season as Delhi’s leading run-getter with a total of 461 runs in 6 matches and a high score of 130, scoring more runs than accomplished players in the team like Ajay Jadeja and Aakash Chopra.
Dhawan’s Indian Premier League
Shikhar Dhawan was selecting as the captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team before the start of the 2013 Champions League Twenty20 tournament. He was replacing by Darren Sammy as the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2014 Indian Premier League.
Dhawan has joined KL Rahul in reaching 600 runs in this IPL 2020 edition. He had scored 587 runs in IPL 2021, finishing fourth in the Orange Cap list.

In the 2013 Champions Trophy, 2015 World Cup, and 2017 Champions Trophy, Shikhar Dhawan was the highest run-scorer for India. He has also become the first player in the history of IPL to score two centuries in a row.
He was adjudged the ‘Player of the Tournament’ for his memorable work in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy and has become the third Indian after Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh to win the award in an ICC tournament.
