Karachi Kings faced Lahore Qalandars in the 8th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL). In this match, Lahore Qalandars had to face defeat by 67 runs. Let us tell you that Shaheen Afridi, playing for Lahore Qalandars in this match, did not perform anything special. He took just one wicket for 39 runs in 4 overs. During this, his father-in-law Shahid Afridi was also surprised to see Shaheen Afridi’s average bowling.

Keeping his point, Shahid Afridi said –

“I am seeing him and have had a conversation with him. I think he is bowling too far from the stumps, but when you bowl from a distance, getting the ball back in from there is a big deal. It ain’t easy.”

Recently, Shahid Afridi has given good advice to his son-in-law Shaheen to improve his bowling. In fact, Shoaib Akhtar, the former fast bowler of the Pakistan team, had also given a very sharp reaction to Shaheen Afridi on the previous day.

In such a situation, now Afridi’s father-in-law (Shahid Afridi) has also talked about those aspects which need to be improved by Shaheen Afridi.

Along with this, Shahid further said –

“Afridi needs to use the crease. He should bowl closer to the stumps. Like Wasim Akram used to do during his bowling. He always used to bowl closer to the stumps and bring the ball in.”
