World Cup Hero Sandeep Patil: Sandeep Patil, the hero of India’s victory in the 1983 World Cup, felt chest discomfort on Monday night. On Thursday the doctor advised to get angiography. On this, the former batsman reached his friend Dr. Vaibhav Kasodekar, Holy Spirit Hospital in Andheri East. Where he was checked up and all the reports came back normal.

According to mid-day, Sandeep Patil is not worried about his health :-

According to mid-day, Sandeep Patil is not bothered by the bouncer that has taken a toll on his health. Talking to the media, he said, “Our 1983 World Cup winning team lost Yash and then Kapil Dev had a heart problem. Now it’s me, but nothing to worry about. It is a 66 year old machine, it just needs servicing.”

Doctors did many tests: –

On the advice of Dr. Ajit Desai, a CT Angio done at Jaslok Hospital by Dr. Srinivas Desai. According to Jahan Patil, “Some calcium deposits found in the main line.”

The 1983 World Cup winner looked very happy when the reports came back normal and said that one should not take any risk with their health.
