India defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Talking about the 2023 ODI World Cup, a total of 10 teams are participating in it. There will be no group like in 2019. All the teams will have to play against 9 groups and the top-4 teams will get a place in the semi-finals. In this way, once again in a big tournament like ICC, India and Pakistan will be face to face. Talk about 2019, Team India was eliminated after losing to New Zealand by 18 runs in the semi-finals.
A total of 7 teams have qualified for the World Cup so far. Apart from host India, it includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Australia, Pakistan, England, and New Zealand. The ICC is organizing the World Cup Super League to qualify for the World Cup. A total of 13 teams have been included in this.
