IPL 2023 auction: Only a few days are left for the IPL 2023 auction. The list of players for the mini auction to be held in Kochi on December 23 has been released. In this auction, 405 players will be auctioned. This includes 132 foreign players and 273 Indian players.
Out of 132 foreign players, 21 players from Australia :-
Out of 132 overseas players, 21 players are from Australia. England’s 27 South African players include 22. Out of these, three Australian players have kept their base price of Rs 2 crore. These include Cameron Green, Travis Head, Chris Lynn.

IPL 2023 auction: Five uncapped players included :-
The list includes five uncapped cricketers from Australia. These include Lance Morris, Hayden Kerr, Jack Prestwijs, Peter Hatzoglu and Nathan McAndrew. Barring Morris, who is priced at Rs 30 lakh, the others have a base price of Rs 20 lakh.
These Australian players have experience of playing in IPL :-
Green and Ben McDermott do not have IPL experience, while Head, Lynn, Jhye Richardson, Adam Zampa, Moises Henriques, Josh Philippe and D’Arcy Short did not get to play in IPL 2022.
In 2022, Riley Meredith and Daniel Sams played for Mumbai Indians, Sean Abbott for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Nathan Coulter-Nile for Rajasthan Royals, and Andrew Tye for Lucknow Super Giants.
