Chopra is surpris by five openers-

Five openers have got a place in Team India. Apart from captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captains KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Rituraj Gaikwad, and Venkatesh Iyer play as openers. Akash said, ‘There are a lot of openers in the team. There are some fundamental problems with the system and I would like to highlight them. In the future, the team, especially the T20 team, should be selected according to the slots available and not on who has scored how many runs. It is okay to consider IPL performance, but if you keep the highest run-scorer in the Indian team at No. 5, then he will not be able to perform as well.
