Karachi, Feb 10 (PTI) Pakistan pacer Mohammad Abbas, spinner Yasir has been kept in the reserve list for the home Test series against Australia following complaints about his fitness and attitude.

According to the source, the national team’s physio Cliff Deacon has complained. To the President of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Rameez Raja, about Abbas’s attitude.

“The deacon told Rameez that he is not happy with Abbas’s attitude towards practice,” the source said.

“The board has spoken to Abbas and he has promised. To give full time to the fitness schedule by improving his pace,” he added.

Yasir Shah has also been kept in reserve due to fitness and other reasons

Yasir’s name had cropped up in the police case after relatives of a 14-year-old girl alleged. That they had threatened to protect a close friend of theirs. Accused of sexually assaulting the girl and making videos to blackmail her.

Later, Yasir’s name was dropped from the case but the matter is being heard in the court.
