Abdul Razzaq Will Now be The Coach of Central Punjab

Abdul Razzaq, whose Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team won the trophy in all three formats in the old season, will now coach Central Punjab. In a major setback in Pakistan’s domestic cricket match, the PCB has joined hands with four head coaches ahead of the 2021-2022 season.

In return, Shahid Anwar would move from central Punjab to southern Punjab and Abdur Rahman from southern Punjab. Where he spent two seasons – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Former WAPDA batsman Rafatullah will be the assistant to Mohammad Rahman.

Ejaz Ahmed Was Sacked Last Season:

Ejaz Ahmed Jr, who was sacked last season even after winning the 2019-2020 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy with Central Punjab, will now take over at North. Joe was without a head coach since Mohammad Wasim became the chief selector of the men’s national team.

Faisal Iqbal and Basit Ali are the only two head coaches. They will stay with their old teams Balochistan and Sindh respectively for the new season.

There has been a drastic change in coaching appointments with Abdul Razza in the next XI circuit as well.

This change is to assist in the advancement of Pakistani coaches. Thereby allowing them to work in diverse environments and conditions. The flip side though is that rotation can have a negative effect on a player’s development. Abdul Razzaq, for example, will not be able to join the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team. Who won three trophies last season. And instead, they have to start all over again with new players.

Grant Bradburn’s Statement to Pakistan’s Coaching Candidates:

Grant Bradburn said that “This will not only help us boost our pool of coaching aspirants from Pakistan, but will also learn from many more coaches to develop strong self-reliant players who face different challenges from the early stages of their future.” ready to do.” PCB’s Head of High-Performance Coaching. “In Pakistan, we get very few opportunities for our coaches to experience various assignments and learning opportunities. Especially, in the COVID-19 times, it became difficult for our head coaches to provide outside learning experiences Is.

“Therefore, we are openly creating a variety of challenges for our coaches to progress. This gives the background for some of the changes and rotations that you will see that we have made this season. All our domestic coaches and city coaches are supported and challenged. Two obvious tasks – put your team in contention to win and advance players. Our job is also to challenge and develop our coaches. And we do this in several ways: 360-degree reviews, individual coach profiles, coach learning groups, in-season workshops, coaching courses, face-to-face mentoring, and international camp/tour assignments.”
