Afghanistan to host Australia and West Indies for T20I tri-series in October. The upcoming T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has also endorsed that the team’s first Test against Australia – a one-off match – will take place on 27 November at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart as scheduled.

The Kabul International Stadium :-

Since the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, there has been uncertainty about the country’s partnership with cricket. ACB CEO Hamid Shinwari was determined about. The resumption of cricket in the country as well as future tours. The board also guided a friendly T20 match between the two Afghan teams at the Kabul International Stadium on Friday.

One-side Test was originally slated for December 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic. This will be Afghanistan’s seventh Test since achieving full member status in 2017.

Shinwari told ESPNcricinfo :-

“Our team will hopefully travel abroad to play all three series and we can make adjustments to the two important countries Australia and West Indies,” Shinwari told ESPNcricinfo. “We are planning to hold this series in one of the Arab countries, perhaps in Qatar or the United Arab Emirates. The series is confirmed that a venue exists.

“We have agreed to cricket from the management. After the T20 World Cup, we are going to play the only Test match in Australia. Talks with Cricket Australia are in the pipeline. After the World Cup, the team will go there.”

All three series are likely to go ahead with IPL 2021. Scheduled from 19 September to 15 October in the United Arab Emirates. As a result, many of the big names on all three sides may be missing from the triangular series.

The Military challenges :-

Afghanistan three-match ODI series against. Pakistan scheduled was to begin on September 3. Negotiations between the two boards concluded that military challenges were making it difficult for the Afghanistan team to travel to Sri Lanka.The PCB also tweeted that both the boards will try to reschedule the series for 2022.
