AFG vs BAN, T20 Series 2023: Afghanistan squad announced for T20I series against Bangladesh

Afghanistan squad for T20I Series 2023 against BAN: Afghanistan announced a 16-member squad for the T20I series against Bangladesh.

Afghanistan will play two match T20I series from July 14 :-

AFG will begin their tour of Bangladesh with a three-match ODI series to be played in Chittagong on 05 July. The ODI series will end on July 11. After this, both the teams will play a two-match T20I series from July 14 in Sylhet. The second match of the series will b’ played on 16 July. Rashid Khan will lead the team in T20.

AFG vs BAN T20 Series 2023: Players get a chance before the T20 World Cup :-

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) chief selector Asadullah Khan said that Mohammad Shahzad, who last played a T20 match against New Zealand in 2021, has been brought back into the squad because of his recent performances in domestic cricket. He further added that the selection panel wants to give a fair chance to all the players before finalizing their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be played in USA and West Indies in 2024.
