Two of the world’s legendary fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Shaheen Afridi have been out for a long time due to injury and both are expected to return to competitive cricket soon.

Bumrah is out for a long time due to a back injury –

Afridi is suffering from a knee injury while Bumrah is suffering from a back injury. Both India and Pakistan are hopeful that these players will soon regain their fitness and return to the national team.

Afridi’s knee injury ruled him out of the Asia Cup 2022, in which Pakistan were the runners-up. However, the left-arm pacer made a comeback in the T20 World Cup in Australia, where Pakistan again finished runners-up. Afridi’s injury aggravated during the T20 World Cup and he was ruled out for the rest of the season.

‘Afridi is much better than Bumrah’ former Pak all-rounder gave a fiery statement

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah is out for a long time due to a back injury. Bumrah was also ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to this injury and is currently rehabbing at the NCA in Bengaluru. Comparing these two fast bowlers, former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has given a provocative statement.

Razzaq said in a conversation with a news channel –

“Shaheen Afridi is so much better than Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah is nowhere close to Shaheen’s level.”

By the way, this is not the first time that Razzaq has made such a statement about Bumrah. In 2019, Razzaq called Bumrah a baby bowler and also said that if he was playing, he would have completely dominated the Indian bowler.
