Akash Replaced Injured Washington in RCB

Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the UAE leg of IPL 2021 due to a finger injury. Royal Challengers Bangalore have replaced Bengal medium pacer Akash Deep in his place.

Washington Injured His Right Hand Finger After Being Hit by a Sharp Lifter:

Washington suffered a finger injury on his right hand after he was hit by a sharp lifter from Mohammad Siraj in a warm-up game between the county selection XI and the Indians, just ahead of the five-match Test series against England.
