Bangladesh dismissed both set batters in that session, but Fawad Alam and Mohammad Rizwan now look comfortable at the crease.

Mohammad Rizwan and Fawad Alam helped Pakistan-

Mohammad Rizwan and Fawad Alam helped Pakistan consolidate their innings in the rain-hit second Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka on Tuesday. The visitors reached 242-4 in their first innings at lunch on the fourth day with Rizwan — who survived two reviews — batting on 26 and Alam 19. Pakistan lost two quick wickets early in the day after yet another delayed start following day three’s complete wash-out at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Only 63.2 overs of play were possible in the first two days because of rain and bad light, with Pakistan reaching 188-2 after electing to bat first. Ebadot Hossain dismissed Azhar Ali for 56 runs in the second over of the day as wicketkeeper Liton Das took a simple catch after a top-edge. (Bangladesh vs Pakistan LIVE SCORECARD 2nd Test Day 4).

It was Khaled Ahmed’s first Test wicket after 69.4 overs. Bowled over three Tests in three years into his international career.

Ebadot also bowled with a bit more confidence after taking Azhar’s wicket. He put both Mohammad Rizwan and Fawad Alam in trouble.

Umpire adjudged it lbw-

He also got one to move away from Rizwan at the last moment. But while the umpire adjudged it lbw, replays showed. It had taken his outside edge and fell short of the wicketkeeper. Rizwan later survived a leg-before decision against Taijul Islam, missing a sweep. But the ball-tracking showed that the ball would have dramatically spun away from the stumps.

Rizwan was unbeaten on 26 while Fawad was on 19 when the teams went to lunch.
