He took a brilliant catch against Sunrisers Hyderabad while playing for Lucknow Supergiants.

Amit Mishra also took two wickets for 23 runs in this match, but the reason why he came into the limelight was his brilliant catch. Mishra dismissed Rahul Tripathi through this catch.

He had scored 35 runs in 40 balls and was trying to score fast. In such a situation, he played a shot in the direction of third man on the ball of Yash Thakur. They expected to get four runs easily, but it did not happen. Amit Mishra, standing at short third man, made a brilliant dive and showed him the way to the pavilion. Rahul Tripathi got out after scoring 35 runs in 41 balls with the help of four fours.

Hyderabad team Disintegrated After Rahul’s Dismissal

After Rahul’s dismissal, the Hyderabad team disintegrated. When he got out, the team’s score was 94 runs and in the end this team was able to score only 121 runs. Tripathi was the highest run-scorer for his team.

Lucknow’s bowlers performed brilliantly in this match. Krunal Pandya took three, Amit Mishra two and Yash Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi took one wicket each. Apart from Tripathi’s 35, Anmolpreet Singh scored 31 and Abdul Samad scored 21 for Hyderabad.
