Nicholas Pooran, Gayle ‘s record in danger: The third T20 match between India and West Indies is being played in Guyana. Electing to bat first after winning the toss, the Caribbean team got off to a good start and crossed the 100-run mark by losing three wickets.

Nicholas Pooran made a strong start in the third T20 match and scored 20 runs in 12 balls with the help of two fours and a six. However, Pooran returned to the pavilion after being stumped in the wake of hitting a big shot off Kuldeep Yadav. However, Pooran has taken a big record during his 20-run innings.

Pooran is the second highest run scorer for West Indies in T20Is :-
Nicholas Pooran has now become the second highest run-scorer for the West Indies in T20 Internationals. Pooran has left behind Kieron Pollard and Marlon Samuels. Pollard has scored 1,569 runs for the West Indies in T20I cricket, while Samuels has 1611 runs in this format. The record for scoring the most runs in T20 Internationals for the West Indies is in the name of Chris Gayle. He scored 1899 runs in 79 matches.
