Interim Chief Minister of Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi was elected the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday, February 6. He was elected without any opposition by the PCB Board of Governors. His tenure will now be three years from Tuesday, February 6.
Naqvi now becomes the 37th Chairman of Pakistan Board :-
Let us tell you that in this way Naqvi has now become the 37th Chairman of Pakistan Board. The election to elect the PCB chairman was completed unanimously in the BOG meeting convened by interim chairman Shah Khawar at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

PCB without full-time chairman from December 2022 :-
Let us tell you that the PCB is without a full-time chairman from December 2022 as former national team captain and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s chosen candidate Ramiz Raja was removed by a government notice at midnight. Since then, Najam Sethi and Zaka Ashraf have worked for different periods. Zaka Ashraf was the last Chief, who stepped down on January 19.
