Jofra Archer has gone surgery on his right hand

England’s Director Of Cricket Ashley Giles said – Fast bowler Jofra Archer’s Finger injury caused by freak fish tank incident. Undergone surgery today (Monday) on his right hand. The decision regarding him playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021 will be taken later.

Jofra has accidentally dropped a fish tank in at his home in Hove. The incident had taken place in January earlier this year. The England cricket team had so far managed the injury in the country’s recent series against India, told Ashley Giles.

Archer came out of the well and he managed through India and treated it when he arrived and it wasn’t an open wound on that finger. It didn’t stop him from playing, but given he came home for an injection on his elbow. He went to a specialist because the finger was still a bit stiff.

He had played two Tests and all the five T20Is against India. Jofra, who was due to play for the Rajasthan Royals. He will miss the start of the Indian Premier League season, which starts on April 9. A call on his participation in the remaining part of the tournament is due to be taken this week. Ruled out from the ODI series and a part of the IPL by Archer

Archer had constantly fired searing thunderbolts in the 13th edition of the T20 extravaganza. He was the fastest delivery of his cricket career, which bowled at 153.62 kph.
