Happy Diwali: Diwali, the festival of lights, is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. In this festival of good over evil, every nook and corner of the country lit up with lights. Team India celebrated its Diwali in the very first T20 World Cup 2022 by beating Pakistan by four wickets.

After that victory, Indian cricketers have once again wished the fans and the whole country a very Happy Diwali.

Indian received Diwali greetings from other countries as well :-

On the festival of Diwali, apart from Indians, players from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia and many other countries have given Diwali wishes. Virat Kohli, who became the hero of victory by scoring an unbeaten 82 against Pakistan, also wished Diwali.

Kohli wrote, “He posted on Twitter and wrote- Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali. May the festival of lights bring you happiness, peace and prosperity.

Sachin Tendulkar wished everyone Happy Diwali :-

Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar wrote on Twitter, “Wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali. May this festival of lights and love bring happiness to all of us!

Dhanashree, wife of leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who was out of the Indian playing XI in the first match, posted on social media and wrote in the caption, “May this Diwali wish you love, prosperity and lots of happiness. Dhanashree is also in Australia with Chahal.

David Warner of Australia also congratulated Happy Diwali :-

Australia’s David Warner, wishing fans Diwali, wrote on Instagram, “Happy Diwali to all my friends and fans in India. Have a wonderful day to all of you.” Her compatriot Brett Lee has also wished the fans Diwali.

These players of Pakistan gave Diwali wishes :-

Indian fans are getting Diwali wishes from across the border too. Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria on Monday sent Diwali greetings to Hindus across the world. He claimed that he would visit the Ayodhya temple in India very soon.

Another fast bowler from Pakistan, Shahnawaz Dahani has also given good wishes for Diwali by writing a message in Sindhi language. At the same time, Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan has also wished the fans a Happy Diwali.
