Ashes 2023, 2nd Test: Steve Smith achieved another milestone
Australia’s star batsman Steve Smith has made another unique record in his name. In the second match of the Ashes Test Series 2023, Steve Smith made a record of hitting 1000 fours at Lord’s.
Steve Smith became the fifth batsman to do so :-
Steve Smith scored 110 runs in the first innings. During this, hit 15 fours. At the same time, he got out after scoring 34 runs in the second innings. 5 fours were hit in this innings. Smith hit a total of 20 fours in both the innings. Steve Smith holds the record for hitting more than 1000 fours in his 99th Test match. He has become the fifth Australian batsman to hit more than 1,000 fours.

- Ricky Ponting – 168 matches – 1509 fours
- Steve Waugh – 168 matches – 1175 fours
- Allan Border – 156 matches – 1161 fours
- Matthew Hayden – 103 matches – 1049 fours
- Steve Smith – 99 * Match – 1004 Fours
Sachin has hit the maximum number of fours in Test cricket:-
Talk about the player who hit the most fours in Test cricket, he is the God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar. The Master Blaster has hit a total of 2058 fours in his Test career.
