Another achievement waiting for Steve Smith: The third Test match of the Ashes series is to be played from 6 July. Another big achievement will be added to the name of Steve Smith as soon as he steps on the field of Headingley.

Smith will have entry in special club :-

Ashes 2023, 3rd Test: Steve Smith will join an exclusive club as soon as he steps onto the field at Headingley. Smith will become the 14th player to play 100 Test matches for Australia. Smith likes the longest format of cricket very much. The Kangaroo batsman has played a total of 99 Test matches in his career so far. During this, 9,113 runs have come out of Smith’s bat. Smith has also scored a total of 32 centuries and 37 half-centuries in Tests.

In the Ashes series 2023, Smith’s bat has spoken fiercely so far. In the second Test match played at Lord’s, Smith batted brilliantly and played a century. For this he was adjudged man of the match. The kangaroo batter scored 110 runs in the first innings and 34 runs in the second innings. However, Smith could not show anything special with the bat in the Edgbaston Test.
