ICC has imposed heavy penalty on England and England for slow over rate in Ashes series 2023. According to the International Cricket Council, the Australia team has been fined 50 percent of the match fee and along with this they have also lost 10 points. Kangaroo team has been fined due to slow over rate in the fourth test match played in Manchester.

Ashes 2023, ICC: England have suffered a heavy loss of 19 points in the WTC cycle due to slow over rate in four out of five Tests. Along with this, the English team has been fined 10 percent for slow over rate in the first Test; 45 percent in the second Test, 15 percent of the match fee in the fourth Test and 25 percent in the last Test.
