Ashes 2023, Steve Smith: The series Ashes 2023 between Australia and England has started. Along with this series, the journey of World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 has also started.

Ashes 2023: Many big records in the name of Smith :-

Australian batsman Steve Smith has many unique records in his name. In the first Test during the 2019 Ashes series, Steve Smith scored 144 runs in the first innings and 142 runs in the second innings. Smith scored a century in both the innings of the first Test.

Meanwhile, during the Ashes series in 2023, Smith can complete his 9,000 runs in Test cricket, from which he is only 53 runs away. He will be only the fourth Australian batsman to reach 9000 runs.

Smith would like to break Bradman’s record :-

Smith will try to match Don Bradman’s record. In fact, Bradman has the maximum number of 11 centuries among guest batsmen on the soil of England. Smith has 7 hundreds on English soil, so he would like to match Bradman’s record by scoring 4 more centuries in this Ashes.

Most hundreds in an Ashes: –

• Bradman has 19 centuries to his name.
• Jack Hobbs of England has 12 centuries at number two.
• Steve Smith at number three has 11 centuries.
