Usman Khawaja, Ashes 2023: The first Test of the Ashes series between England and Australia is being played at Edgbaston. The fifth and last day of this match is today i.e. on 20th June. The fifth day’s play started after more than 3 hours due to rain.

Usman Khawaja repeated 43 years old history :-

As soon as the second session of the game started after the rain, Usman Khawaja from the Australian team achieved a big milestone as soon as he stepped on the field. He repeated the 43-year-old history and also became the second Australian batsman to do this feat.

Ashes 2023: Actually, the game on the fifth day of the first test of ENG vs AUS could not be played for a long time due to rain, but when the match started, Usman Khawaja registered a special achievement as soon as he got on the field.

Khawaja became the 13th cricketer in the world to bat on all five days of a Test match. With this, he became the second Australian batsman to do this feat. Before him, this feat was done by Kim Hughes in 1980 at the Lords ground.
