Ashes 2023: WK Carey broke silence for first time on Bairstow controversy, PM of UK-AUS also came forward

Carey Bairstow controversy: Australia wicketkeeper Alex Carey has no regrets for controversially stumping Jonny Bairstow at Lord’s. He said that he too has been dismissed like this before. The manner in which Carey dismissed Bairstow in the second Ashes Test had sparked controversy and many experts termed it against the spirit of the game.

Carey Bairstow controversy: Carey said in Manchester ahead of the fourth Ashes Test:-

On the fourth day of the match, after leaving the bouncer of Bairstow all-rounder Cameron Green, thinking that the ball was a ‘dead ball’, he came out of the crease but Carey hit the ball on the wickets and thus the batsman was stumped.
