Asia Cup 2022: The great match between India and Pakistan is to be played on 28 August at the Dubai International Stadium. Before this match, the players of both the teams are sweating profusely in the practice session.

Virat Kohli met Babar Azam on Wednesday :-

Asia Cup 2022: On Wednesday, when Team India reached the ICC Academy for the first practice session, the Pakistani team was returning after packing up. During this, Virat Kohli met Pakistani captain Babar Azam. The pictures of this meeting had made a lot of headlines on social media.

PCB posted the video of the meeting of Indian players with Shaheen Afridi on social media :-

The Pakistan Cricket Board has posted a video of the meeting of Shaheen Afridi and Indian players on its official social media account. In that Kohli, Pant and Chahal are seen asking Shaheen Afridi’s well being.

Shaheen Afridi has been ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022 due to injury. But he still went to UAE for this tournament with the team. It is seen in the video that when Shaheen was sitting, Yuzvendra Chahal first came and met him, after which Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul reached to meet this Pakistani bowler. Pant and Chahal hug Afridi too.

Asia Cup 2022: After Afridi, Mohammad Wasim also got injured :-

After the exit of Shaheen Afridi, another bad news has come out for the Pakistan cricket team. Mohammad Wasim suffered back pain during the net session after which he was sent to the hospital for an MRI.

However, it is not yet clear how serious his injury is. If Wasim is not able to play against India due to this injury, then it will be a big blow for Pakistan.

Shaheen Afridi’s T20 Career :-

Looking at Shaheen Afridi ‘s T20 career, he has taken 47 wickets in 40 international matches played so far at an economy of 7.76. While 21-year-old Mohammad Wasim has played 11 T20I matches so far. He has taken 17 wickets at an average of 15.88 and economy of 8.10.
