Asia Cup 2022: Sourav Ganguly told in his statement why he has hopes from Virat Kohli in Asia Cup

Asia Cup 2022: Former India captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly hopes that Virat Kohli will make a strong comeback in the Asia Cup 2022.

Virat Kohli will return to the national team through Asia Cup :-

Kohli, who has been going through a rough patch in all formats for a few months now, will make a comeback to the national team through the upcoming Asia Cup after missing tours to West Indies and Zimbabwe. Ganguly said that Virat Kohli just needs practice and a few matches. Ganguly is also expecting a century from him.

Sourav Ganguly, “Virat needs practice and he has to play more matches” :-

Sourav Ganguly said, “Virat Kohli needs to practice and he has to play (more) matches. He is a great player. He is playing very well but not scoring a century. Hopefully he gets a century in this Asia Cup. will build.

I am very hopeful about that.” He found a place in the team on the tour of England after a bad IPL season, but he managed to score 31 runs in both innings of Test matches, 12 runs in two T20 matches and 33 runs in ODIs.

Virat Kohli himself has sought rest for the tour of Zimbabwe :-

After the tour of England, he was rested from the ODI and T20 series against West Indies, while he himself sought rest for the tour of Zimbabwe. However, now he has started practicing for the Asia Cup 2022.

On the other hand, Sourav Ganguly also told that he will play in Legends League cricket against World Giants. This match will be played at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata
