Asia Cup 2023: The first match between Pakistan and Nepal on 30 August
The first match of the Asia Cup will be played between Pakistan and Nepal in Multan on 30 August. Pakistan is the host of the Asia Cup, but nine matches of the tournament, including the final, will be played in Sri Lanka. Indian fans are eagerly waiting for Team India’s first match in the Asia Cup as it will be against Pakistan. The India-Pakistan match will take place on September 2 in Sri Lanka.
A total of 6 teams will play in the Asia Cup
A total of 6 teams will play in the Asia Cup, which is divided into 2 groups. Group A consists of India, Pakistan, and Nepal. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in Group B. After the group stage matches, the top 2-2 teams will go to the Super 4, while the journey of the remaining 2 teams will end. The final of the Asia Cup will play at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on 17 September.
