Harmanpreet Kaur suspended: Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been severely punished by the ICC for losing her temper on the field and confronting the umpires. She lost her temper after being given out in the third ODI against Bangladesh and hit the bat stump.

Harmanpreet got severe punishment :-

ICC has suspended Harmanpreet Kaur for two matches. Harmanpreet has’en punished for losing her temper on the field and fighting with the umpires. That means Harmanpreet will not be seen playing in the next two international matches. The ICC has also imposed a fine of 50 percent of the match fee on the captain of the Indian women’s team. Harmanpreet has also been given three demerit points for being found guilty of Level 2 of the ICC Code of Conduct.

Asian Games 2023: Harmanpreet accepted the mistake :-

Not only this, but Harmanpreet has also been found guilty of Level 2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct. According to Code of Conduct 2.8, Harmanpreet found guilty of unbecoming players and showing displeasure at the umpire’s decision.

Harmanpreet has also found guilty of level one for criticizing the spectators in an international match, for which she has been fined 25 per cent of his match fee. Harmanpreet has accepted the punishment accepting his mistake. As consequences Harmanpreet can’t able to play quarter finals and semi finals of Asian Games 2023.
