AUS vs ENG 2022: To strengthen the preparations for the T20 World Cup 2022, Australia is playing a continuous T20 series at home. After the two-match series against the West Indies, the Kangaroos have to play a three-match series against England from October 9. The hosts have announced their squad for the upcoming series against England.

AUS vs ENG 2022: These players will not be part of the team :-

Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell will not be part of the team in the first match to be played in Perth. Ashton Agar, Marcus Stoinis, Kane Richardson, Mitch Marsh, Mitchell Swepson and Nathan Ellis have been included in their place.

This decision was taken to keep the bowlers completely fit: –

This decision has taken by Cricket Australia to keep its bowlers fully fit before the World Cup. Cricket Australia has confirmed that Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell will be on the east coast after the second T20I against West Indies at the Gabba on Friday.

After this match against West Indies on 7th, Australia has to play the first T20 against England on 9th October. This means that the hosts have to play two international matches within 48 hours, which will also have a flight of five and a half hours.

In such a situation, Australia wants to rest all-rounder Glenn Maxwell including its main fast bowlers. Let us tell you, Glenn Maxwell is currently the only fully fit all-rounder in the Australian World Cup squad.

Marcus Stoinis will return against England :-

Marcus Stoinis is out of the team due to a side strain, but he is making a comeback against England. In such a situation, the eyes of the Australian team will be on him, while Mitchell Marsh was struggling with a leg injury. He played only as a batsman in the first T20 against West Indies. He didn’t bowl a single over.
