AUS vs WI: West Indies Cricket has announced the squad for the upcoming limited overs series against Australia. Shay Hope will be seen leading the ODI team, while the command of the T20 team will be in the hands of Rovman Powell.

West Indies’ tour of Australia will begin with the first Test to be played on January 17. On this tour, the West Indies team has to play two Tests, three ODIs and a T20 series of the same number of matches. Cricket West Indies has already announced the Test team for the Australia tour.

AUS vs WI series: Shimron Hetmyer did not get a place in any team :-

Talking about ODI and T20 squads, Shimran Hetmar has neither got a place in the ODI team nor in the T20 team on this tour. Last year, he was seen struggling a lot in the series against England. In the first two T20s, he scored 1 and 2 runs respectively, while in the three ODI matches, he scored 32, 0 and 12 runs with his bat. He was dropped after this poor performance.

Jason Holder and Kyle Mayers will be included in T20I squad :-

Jason Holder and Kyle Mayers have been included for T20I after making themselves unavailable for the Test series on Australia tour due to franchise cricket. Neither Holder or Mayers are part of the ODI series on this tour, while batsmen Brandon King and Sherfane Rutherford have been allowed to play franchise cricket before returning to T20Is.
