Mitchell Starc completes 200 ODI wickets: Zimbabwe cricket team has created a new history by thrashing Australia in its own home. The team led by Regis Chakabva has defeated Australia at home for the first time. Zimbabwe bundled out hosts Australia for 141 runs at the Tony Ireland Stadium in Townsville on Saturday in the last match of the three-match ODI series and then chased down the target with 11 overs and three wickets to spare. Ryan Burley took 5 wickets for Zimbabwe. At the same time, Mitchell Starc achieved a breakthrough for Australia by giving 33 runs in eight overs.

Mitchell Starc has taken his 200 wickets in ODIs with this wicket. The veteran fast bowler completed his 200 wickets in ODIs by dismissing Ryan Burle in the 37th over of Zimbabwe’s innings.

Mitchell Starc sets new world record

With this, Starc has set a new world record in ODI cricket. He achieved the figure of 200 wickets in the shortest matches in the history of ODI cricket. Mitchell Starc has also left behind Pakistan legend Saqlain Mushtaq and compatriot Brett Lee. While Starc has taken 200 ODI wickets in 102 matches, Saqlain Mushtaq has done 104 and Brett Lee has done this feat in 112 matches.
