AUS W vs WI W: The bat of West Indies team captain Hayley Matthews, who created records in the second T20 International match, has also spoken strongly in the third match. Matthews played an explosive inning of 79 runs in just 40 balls in the third T20 being played against Australia.
Playing at a strike rate of 197, the Caribbean batsman scored 68 runs with only fours and sixes. With this, Matthews has also equaled a big record of Virat Kohli in T20 International.

In women’s cricket, the record of scoring the most runs in a three-match T-20 International series is now in the name of Hayley Matthews. She scored a total of 310 runs including one century in three matches. The Caribbean batter has broken Sophie Devine’s three-year-old record. Sophie had scored 297 runs in the series played against Australia.

With this, Hayley Matthews has become the second batsman in the world to score more than fifty runs thrice in the three-match T20 International series against Australia. She has equaled the record of Virat Kohli. In men’s and women’s cricket, only Kohli and Matthews have been able to achieve this feat against the Kangaroo team so far.
