Babar Azam said after Rizwan on the ongoing battle for number 1 with Suryakumar Yadav

In the last few months, an Indian batsman has been giving a lot of competition to Pakistan’s opener and captain Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam in the ICC rankings. This player is none other than Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has now given a statement on this exciting battle going on with Suryakumar Yadav in the ICC T20 rankings. Babar says that becoming number 1 in the ranking definitely increases the confidence of the player, but winning the team is more important.

Babar Azam said during the press conference in New Zealand, ‘Look, I can’t talk personally and don’t even want to talk because the team comes first.

The effort is to make the team win first. Ranking always gives you confidence. When you come to the top it is a dream and when you achieve that it is a relief.

Mohammad Rizwan also expressed his opinion on this issue :-

Before the Pakistan captain, Mohammad Rizwan had also given his opinion on this issue, during which he also praised Suryakumar Yadav a lot.

Rizwan had said, ‘Suryakumar Yadav is a good player. I really like the way he plays. But as far as things are seen from different dates because middle order and top order are different things.

Never thought for number 1 which demand of Pakistan he is trying to fulfill. Number 1 or man of the match, there are few things that lead to negativity. But I haven’t thought.’
