Bangladesh T20I Captain Mahmudullah retires from Test cricket

Bangladesh T20I captain Mahmudullah has announced his retirement from Test cricket, Bangladesh Cricket Board endorsed on Wednesday (November 24).

The Return to Test format in Zimbabwe :-

Mahmudullah, who returned to the Test format in Zimbabwe earlier this year, had already signaled to his teammates. That he would end his career in the longest format. After his career-best 150* against the African nation in Bangladesh’s 220. won’t increase victory.

I thank my teammates and the support staff for always motivating me and believing in my ability. It is an absolute honor and privilege to play Test cricket for Bangladesh and I will cherish many memories.

“Even though I am retiring from Tests, I will continue to play ODIs and T20 Internationals and really do my best for my country in white-ball cricket.”

In Test cricket in the West Indies in 2009, Mahmudullah. who arrived in the West Indies, scored nearly 3000 runs at an average of 33.49, including five centuries. He has also taken five wickets in Test cricket with 43 wickets.
