BBL: Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rehman trapped in this matter, Renegades showed the way out

Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rehman has been ruled out of Melbourne Renegades’ next Big Bash League (BBL) match against Melbourne Stars following a change in the No Objection Certificate (NOC) conditions.

Renegades said in a statement on January 1 for Mujeeb Ur Rehman :-

Renegades said in a statement on January 1 that Mujeeb has been released from the team following a change in his NOC conditions, which will mean he will not play in the match on January 2. However, in an earlier statement, the Renegades said they have not received any information that Mujeeb’s availability for the BBL would change from original plans and the club will continue to support him for the remainder of the BBL season.

ACB had canceled NOC of these players :-

It is noteworthy that Mujeeb Ur Rehman, fast bowlers Naveen-ul-Haq and Fazalhaq Farooqui have been banned from their T20 matches for the next two years after the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) expressed their desire to stay out of the central contract list for 2024. had canceled league play and any NOC they currently held. Let us tell you that ACB has formed a committee to thoroughly investigate the matter.

ACB had said this in a statement :-

The ACB had said, “The insistence of these players not to sign central contracts is due to their participation in commercial leagues prioritizing their personal interests over playing for Afghanistan which is considered a national responsibility. The Afghanistan Cricket Board has decided to take disciplinary action against these players.

Afghanistan is preparing to play a three-match T20 series against India, the first match of which will be played on January 11 in Mohali, the second on January 14 in Indore and the third on January 17 in Bengaluru.
