BBL: The arrival of new players in place of the players who were out due to covid

The BBL has introduced a record of replacement players to fill in the gaps in teams. That was hitting by Covid-19 cases in the later stages of the competition.

COVID-positive cases being reported in Melbourne Stars

The Sydney Sixers became the latest team to have positive cases within their camp. After the tournament was thrown into disarray in the wake of more than a dozen COVID-positive cases being reported in Melbourne Stars. Forcing them to turn to club cricketers and overlooked state.
