Now there is a chance to represent multiple clubs in the same season-

The Melbourne Stars and Brisbane Heat were forced to field almost entirely new teams in recent matches. With several players called up from grade and premier cricket through their squads for the Covid-19 sweep. This prompted Adam Zampa to say that it threatened the integrity of the tournament.

The backup pool means more players who follow Justin Avendano. Now have the chance to represent multiple clubs in the same season. Avendano recruits by the Stars and plays two matches for them before being called up. Their previous side is Sydney Sixers and playing against the Perth Scorchers.

The local replacement player pool is another example of leagues and clubs working together to address the challenges of the season with innovative solutions,” said Big Bash League general manager Alistair Dobson.

However, some teams will still play matches in their home states under a fly-in, fly-out model. Clarity is expecting what will happen for the final series this week.
