BBL vs UAE T20 League: The UAE’s international league has received an amount of Rs 38.5 million ($700,000) in terms of Indian currency for 15 top Australian players to leave the Big Bash League. The reason behind this is the inability to match the dates properly. Which has increased the trouble for the Australia Cricket Board.

BBL vs UAE T20 League: The Big Bash League is scheduled to be held from December 13 to February 4, while the UAE International League will be held from February 6 to February 12. Therefore, it has become impossible for Australian players to play in both leagues. At the same time, according to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald, 15 Australian players have been offered a contract deal of up to 70,000 AUD annually to leave the Big Bash League and play in the UAE T20 tournament in January.

The highest ever paid Darcy Short was USD 258,000-

However, most of the top Australian players are under no obligation to play the BBL under their current central contracts. David Warner hasn’t played the same version since 2014 in this episode. The highest BBL payout from the draft to date has been Darcy Short’s USD 258,000 (AUD 370,000). And the money has been much less compared to what Australian players have been paid in the IPL. But with Indian IPL owners investing in UAE and CSA T20 leagues, BBL will need to revamp its salary structure to keep the best interest in the business.

According to Australian newspapers The Age’ and ‘The Sydney Morning Herald’ by senior cricket sources, “the scale of the raid on Australian players is far more for the UAE than the threat of losing a player – David Warner – because He doesn’t do BBL deals.”
