BCB is all set to appoint David Moore as Head of Programme

The Bangladesh Cricket Board is set to appoint David Moore as the head of the program on the lines of directors of coaching in other parts of the world. BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury told on Wednesday that Moore’s appointment is almost certain.

Nizamuddin said –

“We are open to appointing him (Moore) as head of our program. Typically, a candidate for a position like this is appointed for a two-year term.”

The head of the program will be entrusted with the idea of bridging the gap between the national team and other units that follow right behind the national team, such as the High-Performance Unit and the Bangladesh Tigers programme.

Moore was a senior coach at the Center of Excellence in Australia –

Moore, who played one first-class game for New South Wales in the 1980s. He was appointed as the NSW general manager of cricket performance in 2014. Moore was acting head coach of the West Indies in 2007 following the departure of Bennett King and later coach of Bermuda. He was a senior coach at the Center of Excellence in Australia from 2002 to 2004.
